for hire, is the closest experience to natural rock climbing and can be set up practically anywhere.
Our wall is hand crafted with the unique "Extreme Rock" texture, the most realistic available.

your own safety and confidence,
before you think of using any
climbing wall provider, make sure they hold
National Governing Body qualifications like us at VerticalXtreme. Some other climbing wall operators claim to
be “experienced" but do not hold any formal qualifications.
· We are individual members of the BMC (British Mountaineering Council)
· We are MLTB (Mountain Leadership Training
Board) SPA qualified & CWA trained
· We have 25 years experience in Rock Climbing/Abseiling tuition
· We are First aid qualified and CRB
checked
· We have been teaching youth groups in outdoor pursuits for over 25 years
· Our staff are all Climbers themselves
and give 1-2-1 professional tuition.
· We are responsible for Climbing & Abseiling training and assessment qualifications for
the world's largest
youth organisation - The Scout Association.

activities, Scouts and Guides etc, Fundraising, Parties, Family Fun Days, Camps, Church Fetes, Corporate Events,
Trade Shows etc. etc.
Do you hold a climbing qualification (either an NGB award, or with the Scouts* / Guides / Youth Group)? Is so then we can also supply the climbing wall on a Non-Staffed basis i.e. on a hire
only, with training and assessment provided - saving you a great deal on hire charges, particulalary for a two or
more day hire. Conditions apply - please contact us for more details.
*Scouters - We can train and assess
you on the use of the wall, all you need to do is get your D.C. (or equivalent) to countersign your Adventurous
Activities Permit and away you go - making the hire very reasonable for camps, events etc. See

There are 4 colour coded independent climbs, allowing 4 people to climb at the same time. There are 12 routes
in total with varying degrees of difficulty to suit all ages and abilities from ages 2 upwards (some walls start
from age 5). Suitable for novices & experts, is fitted with the latest, smoothest, fully automated
hydraulic self-belaying devices. Climbers activate the horn siren at the top of each climb.
We offer fully
supervised sessions with tuition provided from professional climbers. The wall is also available Non-Staffed, with training
and assessment provided. We supply all the necessary safety equipment, crowd barriers etc. We hold £5m Public
Liability Insurance - see our About Us / Contact Us Page.
Average set up time is under 30 minutes.
Discounts are available for Scout and Guide Groups / Youth Groups / Schools. Our wall can be used for Fantastic
Fundraising opportunities. Please ask about our "sponsorship" schemes where you can raise £1500+
