The climbing wall is owned and run by
Nick & Neil who are Scout and Guide Warranted Leaders. We are qualified Scout
& Guide Climbing/Abseiling instructors, and also hold National Governing Body Awards. Nick is also the
Avon County Scouts Climbing Adviser. We have over 20 years experience
in instructing Climbing & Abseiling, from evening meeting events to Jamborees.
We are unique Climbing/Abseiling
activity providers to both Scouts & Guides, and provide the required risk assessment suitable for your
own adventurous activity requirements. And we do not charge VAT, so hiring us is
even more affordable. The climbing wall is also available Non-Staffed i.e. on a hire only basis,
with training and assessment provided - saving you a great deal on hire charges, particulalary for a two or more day hire.

Perfect
for Centenary Events, camps, Fetes, evening meetings, activity
days, badges, awards etc. Discounts available for Scout and Guide Groups,
and there are additional savings if you provide your own leaders to help (no qualifications required).
There are Fantastic Fundraising opportunities, and remember
we do not charge VAT. Please ask about our shared income” and “sponsorship” schemes (see
our fundraising page for more details). The current highest fundraising sum achieved to date is £3482, which was raised
in one day by a Scout Group.
Do you hold either an NGB award, or a Scouts*/ Guides authorisation? Is so then we can also supply the climbing wall on a Non-Staffed basis
i.e. on a hire only, with training and assessment provided - saving you a great deal on hire charges, particulalary

*Scouters
- If you do not have a Scout Climbing authorisation then becuase Nick is a Scout County Climbing Assessor, he can train
and assess you on the use of the wall. All you need to do is get your D.C. (or equivalent) to countersign
your Adventurous Activities Permit and away you go - making the hire very reasonable for camps, events etc. See

Scouts:

Scouts, Explorers, Network (oh and leaders too!). We are warranted leaders of 20 years, and are the local Scout County Climbing
Adviser so we can undertake training and assessments for you to run the wall.
We have SPA qualified staff, are all CRB checked & First Aid trained. In
addition to Scout Insurance, we have our own £5m Public Liability insurance. This means that Parents,
friends, families, brothers, sisters etc. can all take part without the need to get additional insurance
cover from HQ. We also supply the risk assessment for your adventurous activities notifications.

Guides:
